The portable library reader is a hand-held information device, likely similar to a personal digital assistant in form and function, which is seen in Season 2‘s “Epiphanies“.
While searching through Asha Janik‘s effects, Lee Adama happens across this device. From it, Galactica‘s crew learns Demand Peace‘s next target, the tylium refinery ship called the Daru Mozu.
