Live Auction Shipping Update
January 31, 2009 · Print This Article
The Propworx crew is working this weekend to facilitate the shipping of all the Live Auction items over the next two weeks by Collectible Shipping Service. We have hired extra crew to focus on our eBay auctions, so my core team can make sure that all the lots remaining to be shipped from the live auction get shipped within the next two weeks. If you were a winner in the Live auction you should:
1) Read this web site for updates.
2) Contact Alec directly at alec@propworx.com if you have an issue.
3) Be patient. Waiting up to 4 weeks for an item from a live auction is not unusual. Many of you have never bid in a Live Auction before and expect you item to show up the same week. It doesn’t work that way when you have three companies, 800 lots and over 400 customers who all bought stuff at the same time.
Meanwhile, almost every one of the eBay items from the Monday, January 19th eBay auctions has shipped. If you don’t understand why these shipped before a Live Auction item, it is because eBay auctions are fully automated and we handle everything internally. That isn’t the case when dealing with a live auction. There are seperate groups handling payments, shipping and the auction.
We are working our butts off and ask that you just be reasonable and patient. If you need help, contact me.
