How Do I Bid?

January 4, 2009 · Print This Article

We keep getting questions about bidding live or online, so here is a brief explanation.  More information is available in our FAQ.

The Battlestar Galactica Auction will happen January 17th & 18th at the Pasadena Convention Center.  You can attend the auction live or you can bid online.

Want to attend the auction live?  No problem, just show up!  There is no charge and anyone can attend, and also don’t forget Preview Day, Friday the 16th, which will have panel interviews with the production department heads and viewing of every lot!  You can register online (at www.auctionnetwork.com) or register at the auction.

Want to bid online instead?  You can bid in the Live Auction from anywhere in the world, all you need is Internet access.  Just register at Auctionnetwork.com and be in front of your computer the day of the auction.  The online experience is fantastic as the whole auction will be web cast and you can watch and bid right online against the floor bidders who are at the auction.  The interface is easy to use so go sign up now!

Won’t be available that day?  Don’t worry!  Auction Network allows you to place a proxy bid, just like eBay, so place your bid and walk away.  Auctionnetwork will do the bidding for you up to your maximum bid.

Oh, and don’t forget the eBay Auctions too!  After the Live Auction, we will have 200 auctions, mostly less expensive items, available on eBay for those who missed out on winning in the Live Auction (and anyone else for that matter).  Those auctions will be listed Monday, January 12th and end, Monday, January 19th, the day after the Live Auction.  Find us at eBay by searching our ID “Propworx” or by searching for Battlestar Galactica.
