The very last of the screen used Battlestar Galactica pins are coming up for auction this Friday. Some are higher ranks, some lower, some are wings, some are bloody…but they do have one thing in common. They are ALL pins used on the set of our favorite show of all time! And this is your last chance to have your very own screen used rank pins. Take a look:

Crewman Apprentice Rank Sets

Screen used, Crewman Apprentice rank pin sets worn during the series. Rank such as this was worn by the enlisted crew of the Battlestar Galactica. Each includes two production made, diamond-shaped pins with silver faces and green enamel etching.  Each pin has a silver screw backing as well as a small silver metal bar with no backing on top to hold the pin in place.  Each pin measures 1″ x .5″.

Hero Bloody Pins

Two hero bloody pins from the Season Four episode, “Blood on the Scales”.  One is a Standard Flight Wing pin and the other is a Senior Lieutenant rank pin. Production noted these pins were screen used, but did not note who wore them. Screen used, weathered, gold and silver Standard Pilot Wing pin.  Features the triple chevron shaped symbol with gold wings extending from either side.  Two gold fastener bars with push caps (one gold, one silver) on the back. Measures 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″. Also includes production made, diamond-shaped Senior Lieutenant rank pin with gold face. Includes a gold screw backing as well as a small gold bar with no backing on top to hold the pin in place.  Measures 1″ x .5″. Both pins are bloodied by production.

Galactica Dress Pin

This is a background pin used by Galactica crew members when in their dress grays. This pin is located over the right breast. Worn by background actors during the run of Battlestar Galactica, the Series. This is a screen-used pin that features the Galactica ears and tails logo. Made of brass, this piece is painted gold and black. This piece features two pins on the back with silver flat head pin guards to prevent injury to the wearer. Pin measures 2” x 1.25”.

Sr. Lieutenant Rank Set

Two screen-used Senior Lieutenant rank pins worn on the collars of duty blues, BDUs, or dress grays. These insignia indicate the wearer has attained the rank of Senior Lieutenant in the Colonial Fleet. These pins were worn by background performers during the run of Battlestar Galactica. Screen-used gold dart-shaped collar pins with silver borders and overlaid with a silver chevron bar. Collar insignia contain a screw-type backing with a small pin at top of each to hold it in place. Pins measure 1″ × .5″.

Bloody Rank Pins and Wings Set

Hero, bloodied pins worn by Lieutenant J. “Shark” Finnegan, the Raptor pilot who dies in the Season Four webisode, “The Face of the Enemy”. Production noted these were the screen used rank set and wings worn by actor William C. Vaughn. Screen used, weathered, gold and silver Standard Pilot Wing pin.  Features the triple chevron shaped symbol with gold wings extending from either side.  Two gold fastener bars with push caps on the back. Measures 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″. Also includes production made, diamond-shaped Junior Lieutenant rank pins with gold face. Includes gold screw backings as well as a small gold bar with no backing on top to hold the pin in place. Each measures 1″ x .5″. All pins are bloodied by production.

Crew Specialist Bloodied Rank Set

Screen used, bloodied, Crew Specialist rank set from the Season Four episode, Blood on the Scales.   Rank such as these were worn by the enlisted crew of the Battlestar Galactica.  Worn by a background actor. Two production made, diamond-shaped pins with silver face and backings.  Both feature green enamel etching.  Each pin has a silver screw backing as well as a small bar with no backing on top to hold the pin in place.  Each pin measures 1″ x .5″.  Bloodied by production.

Tanks…A Lot!

Next Friday is going to be the last chance ever to get yourself a set of Battlestar Galactica tank tops. You know the ones–the same tank tops you have been drooling over for the past year but could never bring yourself to start bidding on them. Well, the dream is still alive. They could be in your own closet in a couple of weeks. Yours to keep. FOREVER! C’mon friends, you know they would look really good on you. These tanks have certain magical powers that make everyone look bad a%#! (Not sure if I am allowed to say ass, look at me protecting myself from censorship backlash!)

Cally’s Hero Bloody Tank Top Set


Hero tank set worn by “Cally” in the Battlestar Galactica Series. From the wardrobe of actor, Nicki Clyne in the Season One Episodes “Kobol’s Last Gleaming Part I” and “Part II”. Production made green BDU tank top featuring a racer-back style in front, created by the wardrobe department., and gray sleeveless T-shirt. The tanks have been extremely torn, distressed and bloodied by production. Both tanks are size XS and have been labeled “Cally” on the inside tags by production.

Tyrol’s Green Tank with Long-Sleeved Undershirt


Tyrols green BDU tank and generic long sleeved gray t-shirt. Tank sets like these were a consistent part of the Battlestar Galactica wardrobe. These pieces were unique to the Battlestar universe and were worn with almost every uniform. Production labeled the green tank as being from the wardrobe or actor Aaron Douglas. The gray t-shirt was worn by background actors during the course of the series. The two are paired together to make a complete set, yet were not worn together in the Series. Production made green BDU tank top featuring a racer-back style in front, created by the wardrobe department, size L. Production has sewen an extension piece of material to the bottom of the tank for the purpose of making it longer. The inner tag reads, “Tyrol”. The second shirt is a production made gray long-sleeved T-shirt, size L.

Tarn’s Hero Bloody Tank Top


Hero light gray sleeveless t-shirt worn by “Tarn” in the Season One Episodes “Kobol’s Last Gleaming Part I” and “Part II”. From the wardrobe of actor Warren Christie. Also includes generic green racer-back style tank top worn by a background actor during the course of the Series. The two are paired together to make a complete set, yet were not worn together in the Series. Production made green BDU tank top featuring a racer-back style in front, created by the wardrobe department., and gray sleeveless T-shirt. The gray tank has been bloodied and distressed and labeled “Tarn” inside by production. Both tanks are size M.

Karma’s Hero Bloody, Ripped Tank Top


Hero green tank top worn by “Karma” in the Season One Episode “Kobol’s Last Gleaming Part I”. Karma is shot by the Cylons while flying a Raptor on a mission to Kobol, the Raptor therefore crashes. From the wardrobe of actor Jim Shield. Also includes generic bloody and dirty light gray sleeveless undershirt worn by a background actor during the course of the Series. The two are paired together to make a complete set, yet were not worn together in the Series. Production made green BDU tank top featuring a racer-back style in front, with a large circle tear in the chest, created by the wardrobe department. And a gray sleeveless bloody and dirty T-shirt. The tanks have been extremely torn, distressed and bloodied by production. Both tanks are size L. The green tank has been labeled “Karma” inside by production.

Adama’s Stunt Duty Blues, AND…

I wasn’t lying when I told you before that we saved the best for last. We did! Are you at all interested in Duty Blues? How about Orange Deck Crew Coveralls? What about Adama, are you interested in him? Do you like hero items?

Ok, ok! Calm down. I can hear you shouting yes over and over to ALL of these questions. And I know you want me to stop all the hoopla, and get to the point. Well, here you go…

Adama’s Stunt Duty Blues

Production made, Galactica duty blues with red piping. Features a Galactica patch on the left shoulder and screen used, senior flight wing pin. Production noted these were the hero stunt duty blues for William Adama. Includes production made green and gray double tank tops, both size XL. The jacket and pants do not have a size available. The bottom, ankle hem of the pants are split in the front for stunt purposes. The pants and tanks are labeled “Adama Stunt”. The jacket has been labeled “Hero Adama Stunt”. All labels made by production.

Giana’s Hero Orange Deck Crew Coveralls

Hero orange Deck Crew coveralls worn by Giana in the telefilm, “The Plan”. Standard, production made orange coveralls, size 40R featuring rubber vest and wrist cuffs. Includes production made Galactica gray and green tank top set, size XS. Also includes size 7 orange boots labeled “Giana” by production, and size small gloves. Many of the items for this costume were re-used from episodes in the series, and the labels represent that. Therefore, the coveralls are labeled “Erasco”, the gloves “A. Lawrence” and the green tank top has “Racetrack” written inside by production.

Attack of the Last Flight Suits

So, perhaps you are getting a little tired of me saying ‘the last this” and “the last that”. But you will have to forgive my redundancy… because these are my last chances to tell you about the fantastic items coming up for auction! ( Yes I did say it again. I sure did.)  Are you ready for more inside scoop?  How about THE VERY LAST Flight Suits ever! In the coming 33 Auction we will offer three Flight Suits. That’s right, THREE. Raptor Flight Suit

Production made Raptor Flight Suit size large/long featuring suede vest with double belts, Raptor and Galactica patches on the arms, and a Vigilantes Patch on the left breast. Also includes pocket gak, flight suit thrusters and size 10.5 flight shoes. The shoes are labeled by production as having belonged to the pilot “Brooks” during the run of the Series.


Burned Raptor Flight Suit

Production made Raptor Flight Suit size large, that has been burned and extremely distressed.  The suit features a burned Raptor patch on the right shoulder, silver cuffs on the wrists, a burned flight vest and gloves.

Burned Vintage Viper Flight Suit

Production made Viper Vintage Flight Suit, size small/petite. The suit is burned and extremely distressed. Features burned Raptor and Galactica patches on the arms, burned silver wrist and ankle cuffs and burned gloves.

Thigh Meat (And More!)

BSG Props New Caprica Town Hall Plans

Both pictures…one long piece!

Backup uncut architectural renderings of the proposed New Caprica City Hall site. In a flashback, President Gaius Baltar stands before the people of New Caprica on a wooden stage with a new shovel in one hand and a handful of dreams in the other. The plans for the new City Hall behind he and Felix Gaeta for all to see. With a shovel full of soil freshly dug, Baltar starts off the celebration. Features several smaller designs and the New Caprica Planning Projection plans detailing phase 1 through phase 7. From Season Three’s episode “Unfinished Business”. Art-department created color architectural renderings. Printed on heavy white paper. Measures 60″ x 158″.

BSG Props Hero Centurion Thigh

The hero metal Centurion thigh that Anders and the other C-Bucs acquire. The C-Bucs, being the only survivors on Caprica, devise a plan to get into the Cylon supply area by leaving this thigh to be discovered. Also includes the hero canvas cover they used to wrap the thigh. Production made silver aluminum thigh composed of sheet metal and coil cords. Purposefully bent and burnt by production. Includes plastic silver ball attached by a screw to represent a hip socket. The canvas cover is a gray canvas tarp with silver ringed holes. Distressed by production. Thigh measures 26 in x 9 in.

Mark II Viper Fans, This One’s for You!

The last auction looms in our very near future. Are you sad? Don’t be! I happen to know a couple of little secrets that might make you smile. I have first hand knowledge about two items we have had tucked up our sleeve. Saving the best for last is our specialty. Are you ready? Are your little BSG-loving eyes open wide and pressed against the computer screen? Good. Here’s a look at things to come…

Lee Adama’s Viper Model

Backup version of the Mark II Viper model seen lying on the table in Lee Adama’s cottage on Caprica. Double for the item used in a flashback scene from the Season Four Series Finale, “Daybreak”. This is a plastic model of a Viper Mark II fighter. Features white body with red and black detailing, and a clear plastic cock pit hood that opens to reveal a  tiny pilot with helmet inside. Measures 7 in x 3.5 in.

Mark II Viper Cockpit Blueprints

Set of eight technical plans used by production in designing a Mark II Viper cockpit. These are the actual plans referred to when building the practical cockpit used throughout all four seasons of the Battlestar Galactica Series. Black and white printed plans featuring notes, calculations and writing in red marker and black ink done by the production design team. Includes eight pages in all. Measurements include: three pages 80 in x 24 in; two pages 60 in x 24 in; one 36 in x 24 in; one 36 in x 12 in; and finally, one 11 in x 17 in page taped to a 36 in x 12 in page.
